Jared opened his eyes again and tried to focus on me when he heard my voice. Lee was on the other side holding his left hand, Lee told Jared to squeeze his hand and he did with great strength. Back to sleep.
Jared is becoming more aware, because he began to cry, and looked frightened. I don't want to leave tonight.
I'm so glad that he is slowly doing better, and I am grateful for your faith in Heavenly Father. I want to share a little about my three year old, Lindsay. We have prayed for Jared in our family prayers, and Lindsay has quickly picked up on that for her personal prayers. Her prayers currently consist of nothing but "Thank thee for..." So her prayers each night go like this: "Thank thee for me, thank thee for Jared Garbett, thank thee that he will get better, thank thee that he will be happy..."
ReplyDeleteOn the one hand it's very cute to listen to, on the other hand, it is very tender to listen to her consistently remember him in her prayers, and I know that she is not alone in that.

I am officially a J-Rad blog addict. Since all I do is sit home with the new baby, I find myself checking my computer every time I walk past it. SO glad to hear things are looking up for Jared. Love you all.
